Review of Kyriad Hotel, NormandyDuring my recent trip to Normandy, I chose Kyriad primarily for its location and price. At just over £26 a night, it's clear this hotel positions itself as a budget-friendly option. The rooms are basic but functional-each equipped with a sink, while toilets and showers are located down the corridor. The entry system was a little finicky, needing a six-digit code to access. If you're planning to stay, do bring your own towels, as the small ones provided leave much to be desired. There's a flat-screen TV in the room for entertainment, and I appreciated the excellent breakfast included, featuring cereal, French bread, and decent coffee. What truly stood out was the hotel's proximity to key D-Day sites-only a 15-minute walk to the Caen Memorial Museum. The accessible rooms are spacious and well-thought-out for wheelchair users, providing ample room for movement. For the price, Kyriad delivers on value. Just remember-comfort and luxury come at a premium elsewhere.
